We design spaces and organize events that turn strangers into travel companions. From family nights to guitar Fridays, connection is baked into everything we do.
Casavia Siargao started with a simple frustration: why did budget accommodation have to feel like an afterthought? Siargao was pulling travelers from every corner of the world — surfers, digital nomads, solo adventurers — but there was nowhere that truly felt like a home for them.
So we built one. A hostel where the dorms are comfortable, the private rooms feel curated, the common spaces are designed for genuine connection, and the whole place carries the spirit of the island — relaxed, warm, and a little wild.
We named it Casavia: casa (home) + via (the journey). Because Siargao isn't just a destination — it's a way of traveling.
Four principles that guide how we run the hostel and how we show up for every traveler who walks through our door.
We design spaces and organize events that turn strangers into travel companions. From family nights to guitar Fridays, connection is baked into everything we do.
Budget travel doesn't mean roughing it. Our dorms have proper mattresses, secure lockers, and good AC. Our private rooms feel boutique. We sweat the details so you don't have to.
We partner with local guides, rent Fazzio motorbikes, and point you toward the Siargao that doesn't show up in listicles. We want your experience to feel lived-in, not touristic.
Siargao is fragile and irreplaceable. We minimize single-use plastics, support responsible reef practices, and encourage our guests to leave the island better than they found it.
Our team greets you like a local friend, not a hotel guest. We give real recommendations, help plan your days, and remember your name.
Dorms and private rooms are cleaned daily. Shared bathrooms are serviced multiple times a day. No compromises.
The rate you see is the rate you pay. No hidden fees, no surprise charges at check-out.
Individual lockers, secure access, and a 24/7 front desk ensure you can relax knowing your things — and yourself — are safe.
Solo travelers, couples, digital nomads, surf beginners, experienced riders — all are welcome at Casavia. We celebrate every kind of traveler.
We run minimal-waste operations, source from local suppliers, and work with community initiatives to keep Siargao pristine.
The first guests arrive in General Luna. A handful of dorm beds, a shared kitchen, and a hammock — and an instant community forms.
What started as an impromptu jam session on the front porch becomes a weekly tradition. Every Friday night, guests gather with guitars and stories.
By popular demand, the first private rooms open — designed to feel boutique at a hostel price point. A new kind of traveler discovers Casavia.
We partner with a local rental operator so guests can explore Siargao's hidden lagoons, secret surf breaks, and island tracks on two wheels.
Fast fiber Wi-Fi, dedicated workstations, and a calm common-area corner mean digital nomads can earn in the morning and surf in the afternoon.
Dawn meditation sessions with a local instructor become a beloved part of the Casavia routine — a quiet counterpoint to the surf energy.
Whether you're chasing Cloud 9 barrels, working remotely from paradise, or simply seeking a tribe of fellow wanderers — Casavia is where your island story begins.
