Our Beginnings

Born from a Love of Siargao

Casavia Siargao started with a simple frustration: why did budget accommodation have to feel like an afterthought? Siargao was pulling travelers from every corner of the world — surfers, digital nomads, solo adventurers — but there was nowhere that truly felt like a home for them.

So we built one. A hostel where the dorms are comfortable, the private rooms feel curated, the common spaces are designed for genuine connection, and the whole place carries the spirit of the island — relaxed, warm, and a little wild.

We named it Casavia: casa (home) + via (the journey). Because Siargao isn't just a destination — it's a way of traveling.

We partner with local guides, rent Fazzio motorbikes, and point you toward the Siargao that doesn't show up in listicles. We want your experience to feel lived-in, not touristic.

Respect the Island

Siargao is fragile and irreplaceable. We minimize single-use plastics, support responsible reef practices, and encourage our guests to leave the island better than they found it.

    The first guests arrive in General Luna. A handful of dorm beds, a shared kitchen, and a hammock — and an instant community forms.

    Guitar Fridays Begin

    What started as an impromptu jam session on the front porch becomes a weekly tradition. Every Friday night, guests gather with guitars and stories.

    Private Rooms Added

    By popular demand, the first private rooms open — designed to feel boutique at a hostel price point. A new kind of traveler discovers Casavia.

    Fazzio Motorbike Partnership

    We partner with a local rental operator so guests can explore Siargao's hidden lagoons, secret surf breaks, and island tracks on two wheels.

    Remote Work Zone Launched

    Fast fiber Wi-Fi, dedicated workstations, and a calm common-area corner mean digital nomads can earn in the morning and surf in the afternoon.
